A layered approach was adopted in the design of this house to maximise the site’s potential whilst creating a sense of space and privacy for the occupants.
Low maintenance, simplicity and a welcoming home was high on the clients brief but also wanting to present itself well. The choice of cladding was a low profile concrete brick and was warmed with the texture finish of dark stained vertical random lay cedar weatherboards, then topped off with long run colorsteel metal roof cladding. Internally, the home has a play with ceiling heights through the main living area along with feature lighting and ducted heating throughout, which brings the house into its own, creating a warm and inviting family home.
